Players starting out in "Pokémon Sun and Moon" might have a hard time when it comes to leveling up and earning in-game money. Therefore, the following are some tips and tricks that players can do to go by.

The best and most common way to level up a low-level Pokémon is to challenge high-level ones. Now, there will come a time that is not an option anymore, and it will simply take too long before reaching the next level. Here is where the common Lucky Egg comes in handy. The Lucky Egg is a late-game item, meaning, it does not show up if one has not finished the game's story, according to RPG Site.

Once it is done, a player needs to travel back to Melemele Island and get the Lucky Egg from the Professor. One should also have at least 50 Pokémon in the Pokedex, otherwise, it will not happen. Once they have this, there will be a 50 percent increase on the experience (EXP) gained after every battle.

In terms of in-game cash, one of the easiest ways to earn these in the game is by collecting pearls. This item can easily fetch 1,000 Poke-Dollars, while the more expensive Big Pearls are worth up to 4,000 Poke-Dollars. In order to have these pearls, players need to have a Lapras and Surf and bring them to the designated fishing spots in the game, The BitBag reports.

Twinfinite also suggests collecting Nuggets. These items can be found everywhere in the game, and players only need to be observant of their surroundings. Just like the unused Poke Balls dumped on the island of Alola, some may contain Potions and Ultra Balls, but others might contain these precious items that are meant to be sold off at Poke Marts.

Side Quests of NPCs are also a reasonable source of the much-needed in-game currency. The players should watch out when they talk to these non-playable characters. They might offer a side-quest that will gain them financial rewards. Often times, these extra adventures do not offer big payouts, but they might encounter the one that offers up to 20,000 Poke Dollars, which is not bad at all.

Players should, however, bear in mind that battling other trainers is still the best source of in-game cash, although one can only see the cash flowing in after Trial Captains and Kahunas have been defeated.
