"Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" have been out for almost two weeks, and some players have discovered a few tricks to help them be the best trainer as they make their way across the Alola region. However, some have been baffled over the games' new Pokémon, specifically on how to make them evolve, as there are over 20 new pocket monsters which have not been seen in previous "Pokémon" titles.

While there are various ways to make Pokémon evolve (using evolution stones, increasing happiness level), it can be a challenge to find out how to evolve starters Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio and at what level they will evolve. So here's a quick guide on how to evolve the starter Pokémon and other new pocket monsters in "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon."

• Rowlet evolves into its second form, Dartrix, at level 17. It then evolves into its final form, Decidueye, at level 34.
• Litten evolves into its second form, Torracat, at level 17. It will grow into Incineroar at level 34.
• Popplio, a Water-type Pokémon, evolves into Brionne at level 17 and then turns into Primarina at level 34.
• Rockruff — In "Pokémon Sun," this rock puppy evolves into Lycanroc at level 25 in the daytime. In "Pokémon Moon," the pocket monster evolves into the Midnight form of Lycanroc at level 25.
• Yungoos — players who get to level 20 will see this angry Pokémon turn into Gumshoos.
• Grubbin evolves into Charjabug at level 20, but won't evolve into its final form, Vikavolt, unless players level up in the Vast Poni Canyon area of Alola.
• Cutiefly evolves into Ribombee at level 25.
• Salandit — the female Salandit will evolve into Salazzle at level 33, but the male Pokémon will remain a Salandit forever.
• Stufful — this Pokémon will evolve into Bewear at level 27.
• Wimpod evolves into Golisopod at level 30.
• Mudbray evolves into Mudsdale at level 30.
