While details remain sketchy about the upcoming "Pokémon Z" and "Pokémon GO" titles, speculations have floated online that place the two upcoming games' release dates to be close to each other and may even launch in early 2016.

According to Master Herald, it is entirely plausible that the upcoming "Pokémon Z" follow-up to the Pokémon training sim games franchise (the same series as the current "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire) will have a February launch. This is reportedly to have it coincide with the franchise's 20th year anniversary.

Meanwhile, aside from launching the next series title, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company will also reportedly add a surprise for fans. Together with "Pokémon Z," Nintendo will also launch the mobile app for "Pokémon GO." In addition, there will also be another surprise –- reportedly, "Pokémon GO" will be a free download.

However, some observers are skeptical of the early 2016 release date. According to Movie Pilot, while some details are already established about the upcoming "Pokémon Z" title (such as the game showcasing Legendary Pokémon Zygarde), Nintendo has yet to come out with concrete details on when fans can expect these upcoming games.

Meanwhile, although developer Niantic (for "Pokémon GO) already came out with some additional gameplay details on the augmented reality title, the release date for the upcoming title is still being kept under wraps.

The industry follower surmised that a more solid assumption would be for Nintendo to officially unveil a final version of "Pokémon GO" early next year, while maintaining a middle-to-late 2016 outing for "Pokémon Z."

"Pokémon Z" and "Pokémon GO" are the highly anticipated titles from the Pokémon franchise, with "Pokémon Z" the much-awaited follow-up to "Pokémon X & Y" and "Pokémon GO" using the franchise design and gameplay with all-new augmented reality immersion.
