The Pokemon 3D fighting video game, "Pokken Tournament DX" by Nintendo will be receiving a new update this month, and it promises to be a substantial one. The update will look to improve existing features such as the practice mode, as well as a new online multiplayer experience to add to the cooperative component in the game.

According to Finder, the current version of "Pokken Tournament DX" only offers a one-on-one internet battle mode. The update will allow for multiple players to engage in combat with each other by way of official groups. The subsequent official group matches will have players earning achievements for a particular mode, and will receive the corresponding recognition from the game for their skill and dedication.

Players will be able to pick three Pokemon of their choosing before each battle begins. This feature allows room for competitive play, since players will be rewarded for being able to master more than a couple of Pokemon to use in battle.

What better way for players to be able to hone their skills in combat? A better practice mode! According to Video Gamer, the practice mode will have the capacity to record moves, which gives players a more comprehensive approach as they attempt to master the different moves and tricks in the fighting game. Additionally, opponents' moves can also be recorded, which is an effective way to train reaction time and to not be caught by surprise by any attack.

The promises of the next update look promising, but Nintendo is not stopping there. Miscellaneous aspects of the game will also be improved. As far as updates usually go, developers usually try their best to adhere to player feedback and improve the overall player experience with each update they release.

Currently, there is no confirmed release date yet for the update. "Pokken Tournament DX" is available now for the Nintendo Switch.
