It seems like nothing can stop Popcorn Time from operating.

Recent reports claimed that the free BitTorrent software with integrated media player has begun to function again even after the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) obtained an official court junction from a Canadian court in November to stop the programmers of the country from working on the software.

Popcorn Time became controversial after several countries banned the services because of copyright infringement. The operation of the BitTorrent software was abruptly removed on March 14, 2014 because of the demand of the MPAA.

But after the sudden closure of the online movie streaming application, various groups have decided to continue its development to push through with its services. Popcorn Time has been seen at its new website address popcorntime.ml. But this time, the website appears as a community edition of the app.

According to the new website's description, the Popcorn Time Community Edition is "essentially a bit torrent client specifically for watching your favorite shows and movies with ease. It is also the replacement for the original and most popular Popcorn Time."

And it seems like the website will be up and running for a long time, since new developers are being asked to join their pool to further improve the Popcorn Time experience.

The developers "will be required to take part in discussions revolving around the direction and implementation of features and ideas regarding the Popcorn Time application, and its relatives." They will also help in developing API's, desktop and mobile apps, as well as new operating systems for SoC devices.

Interested developers only need to have at least one year experience using at least two of their required programming languages, including Node.js, HTML 5, Javascript, or Python.
