Rapper Post Malone calls Hillsong a "cult" church and blasts the organization for collecting millions of dollars. The rapper recently talked to Rolling Stone and stated that his good friend and Grammy award winner Justin Bieber had donated over $10 million to the church.

During the interview, Malone called Hillsong "a total cult." He then mentioned that Bieber has been spending many hours with the organization. Malone said, "He's (Justin Bieber) gotten super-religious recently. Real culty." He then added, "He's (Justin Bieber) already given them, like, $10 million. Those are the worst kinds of people."

Malone also shared his opinion about religion and how he perceives God. The rapper said, "I used to be super-religious. I believed in God. But now I see through it. It's nice to support something you believe in, I guess, but people are spending so much money."

Bieber himself has not commented on Malone's comments. However, according to the Rolling Stone report, a source close to Bieber deemed Malone's statement as false.

Malone and Bieber have a good relationship despite false reports about a feud between the artists. The rapper and the singer were involved in a misleading incident back in 2016. A photo of Malone choking Bieber during an event surfaced online. Malone cleared the air through a chain of tweets about what really happened. The "Congragulations'" rapper posted, "He's my big brother and we like to rough house." The two have been vocal in their support for each other ever since.

Bieber has been outspoken about his involvement with Hillsong. He is also seen attending Hillsong events from time to time. Recently, he was spotted at a Hillsong service with on-and-off girlfriend Selena Gomez.

And while Bieber is good friends with recognized Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz, there are no comments from the pastor and the founders of Hillsong Brian and Bobbie Houston about Malone's claim.
