USA Today recently posted an update from the reveals being given at this year's San Diego Comic Con and one of the key images showcases the cast of the new "Power Rangers" movie in their suit but with the visors of their helmets off. 

As stated in a report from Collider, this is a rare look at the titular Power Rangers wearing the costumes but with their faces still visible. In the original season of "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" in the 1990s, there was never a shot of the Rangers with their helmets off or faces visible through the visors.

This was because the footage of the Rangers in their suit came from the Japanese show "Super Sentai" and the only footage of the American cast were the scenes with them in Angel Grove, with their suits off. Given that the film is being made entirely by a Hollywood studio, the cast will be filmed with the suits on and off. 

It is also pointed out that the suit has a very strange look that appears alien and yet very similar to the Iron Man suit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even with the way the visor pops out to reveal the actors in the suit is reminiscent of the Iron Man suit.

The design of the suit also has a metallic look with swirling, crystalline color instead of the solid bright colors of the old spandex suits from the show. It is notable that the suits are still quite colorful, revealing the movie is not afraid of being bright. 

The image, from left to right, showcases Naomi Scott as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, RJ Cyler as Billy the Blue Ranger, Dacre Montgomery as Jason the Red Ranger, Ludi Lin as Zack the Black Ranger and Becky G as Trini the Yellow Ranger. Bryan Cranston is not in the image but he has been confirmed to play Zordon, the leader of the Power Rangers.

"Power Rangers" opens in theaters on March 24, 2017.
