Although the truth has finally come out and A is finally unmasked, the girls will still be haunted by the terrors caused by their tormentor even after five years. When "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 returns, the liars have gone to college but mysteries still abound.

Show creator I. Marlene King has more thrillers to throw, one of which is the mystery involving Jessica DiLaurentis' death.

"You will find out who killed Mrs. D and that's a part of the larger mystery that we have to tell," King told MTV

However, she emphasized that this is no longer the work of the same bully that made the liars' lives miserable.

"It is not A. This A story is done. There is a new big bad, but this A, Charlotte, is done. There is a new Big Bad," she stressed.

Meanwhile, in the new "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 trailer, it is shown what the girls are up to after five years. For a start, Alison, to fans' surprise, is a teacher being addressed by her students as Mrs. Rollins.

With regard to this turnaround, King said, "She's just this varied person. She likes her life in Rosewood. I think she's sort of on a mission to give back so it's very organic. A girl who didn't get to go to high school is spending her adult time back in that classroom."

The very short teaser also shows the girls reunited once more, with Spencer sporting her new bangs, exclaiming, "I miss your faces!"

It does not take long before the clip goes dark, with Emily admitting to Toby that "college wasn't what I thought it was going to be" and Mona asking Spencer in another scene if she's still having nightmares.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 returns this winter with an episode very accurately titled "Of Late I Think of Rosewood ..."
