There won't be Halloween and Christmas specials for "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 this year so idling away the hours until the much-awaited midseason premiere of the thriller drama will be extra difficult for fans than it has ever been.

Thankfully, viewers can expect that before the series makes its glorious return next year, there will be a special episode that will treat them with clips from behind the scenes of the current season. There's not much available info about this episode at the moment though.

Right now, teasers glimpsing what's to come in "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 are being released to help fans get by during the long wait. Of course, they provide more questions than answers, which just evoke greater excitement.

The latest trailer about the upcoming season sees the girls reminisce about the past five years without A having to torment them. Needless to say, this feeling is only fleeting. The girls reunite and are set to come to court but while all four of them are prepared to tell the truth as it is, Alison asks them to lie instead.

Even when "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 moves five years ahead, the liars still don't have a concrete answer to the question of "Are you afraid of A?" But as they take baby steps to move past that hellish past, they, regrettably, once again get confronted with a new big bad.

There's not much known about who the new enemy is. There's no info on his or her identity but what executive producer Marlene King emphasized is that this individual is far worse than A, who is already nightmarish on so many levels.

It is hard to imagine what or who could be worse than A but one thing's for sure – Caleb isn't shaken by his or her threats. In the video, he was heard saying "I don't know who you are, what kind of game you think you're playing. If you can change the rules, so can we."

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 returns January 2016.
