The liars may have escaped A's clutches but it doesn't mean they are out of danger. "Pretty Little Liars" season 6b will bring a new breed of threats, one that will be more dangerous than A, which is definitely saying something.

During an interview with Buddy TV producers Oliver Goldstick and Joseph Dougherty revealed details as to what awaits the girls as they reunite in Rosewood after five years. They emphasized that the last half of season 6 will feel like a reboot.

This means that new fans can jump in without having to watch the previous seasons. Nonetheless, they underlined that one thing's true with "Pretty Little Liars" season 6B – danger still lurks. "We're not changing the DNA of the show. There's still something in Rosewood that's amiss," Goldstick said.

There will be somebody that will "force them to deal with truths," the producer went on to say. However, Dougherty and Goldstick did not do so much as to hint the identity of the person set to antagonize and intimidate the girls.

In a way, A still gets in the liars' head in "Pretty Little Liars" season 6B with Dougherty teasing that there's "more trauma coming." But more than A's lasting impression, fans have a lot to worry about with a new baddie on the way. Word on the street is that a major character will be killed off this season.

As Lucy Hale aka Aria teased during an MTV interview, the new Big Bad will be "smarter and edgier and deadlier." This person will be hell-bent with revenge as he or she will be hunting down the person responsible of the death of a certain someone.

Bustle said that if the new villain is out to frame the girls for murder to make the rest of their lives a literal prison, it would not be hard for him or her to kill Melissa, Cece or Sara to pull that off. If the baddie wants to hit them where it really hurts, odds are he or she will go after Mona.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6B airs Jan. 12, 2016.
