'Pretty Little Liars' season 5: Liars to answer fan questions in Halloween episode, Christmas special ready to air

Liars to share laughs and open to an all-out get to know interview in its Halloween Special.Facebook

There will be no spooky Halloween special to show the Liars getting all stressed out about A's mayhems. Instead, the "Pretty Little Liars" gang has prepared something that is the complete opposite.

The ABC Family chose to break free from the usual spooks and creeps by making the show's Halloween episode more personal. With a not-so-eerie episode entitled "We Love You to DeAth," Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell will take a break from the scares and will sit down with other characters of the show to answer fans' questions about the series.  It will be featured in the network's "13 Nights of Halloween."

As a way of giving back to fans who continually support the show — sticking with the characters in death and in romance — the cast will be answering their questions during the episode.  Followers of the series can maximize their chance of asking the stars anything (A's identity not included) by tweeting their questions with hashtag #PLLHalloween or by posting their questions on the "Pretty Little Liars" Facebook fan page.

The one-hour appreciation special will also be a big flashback for everybody as favorite clips from the series over the years will be shown. The episode contains something big about A too, and that alone is something to look forward to.

Mona (Janel Parrish) may be dead but it seems that they are not successful in getting rid of her entirely. Parrish revealed in an interview with TVLine that her character will return to mess with Alison (Sasha Pieterse) during the Christmas special (probably in some other form).

"She's going to be the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present and Future," Parrish revealed. "She gets to mess with Alison — and in a fabulous costume, I might add."

Speaking of the Christmas Special, some juicy info is available, too.

Even though suspicions on killing Mona stick with Alison, it does not bother her enough to keep her from showing up in an icy ball with four masked girls behind her.

On the other hand, Aria (Hale), Emily (Mitchell), Spencer (Bellisario), and Hanna (Benson) think of ways to get through another trouble in "How The 'A' Stole Christmas" while maintaining some drop-dead gorgeous looks.

Writer and director of the Christmas special Marlene King has been dropping hints about her project, too, and it is even reported that Julian Morris will again morph into that creepy dude, Wren, in the coming episodes.

The Halloween special "We Love You to DeAth" will air on Oct. 21 while "How The 'A' Stole Christmas" will kick off on Dec. 9.
