The fifth season of "Pretty Little Liars" may finally reveal the identity "A".

Spencer, Aria, Emily and Hanna may finally get the answer to the troubling question pertaining to the identity of the one person who knows their secret.

According to reports, A's identity may come to light next season after Erza survived the fatal shot he received on the final episode of season 4. Moreover, Alison is back from the dead and she may have a connection with A.

The latest promo from ABC showed that Ali is being stalked by the black-hooded 'A' on the dark streets of New York. In the premier episode "Escape From New York," the group of liars asked Ali to reveal everything since the night she went missing.

Fans speculated that Alison's twin sister could be the real "A". Many suspected that Ali's identical twin, Courtney, is the person disturbing the liars. This could be the reason why Ali's mother Jessica DiLaurentis was hiding her death. If this proved to be true, the plot will take a whole different twist.

ABC released the new synopsis of episode "Whirly Girl." Sasha Pieterse's character is struggling with her coming back in town, especially being around with the family members that does not quite trust.

"With the events of New York behind them and back in Rosewood, the Liars are unsettled to still be living under a cloud of secrets. Aria is haunted by the recent past events, while Emily, Hanna and Spencer try to wrap their head around the new normal. Alison, on the other hand, is still sleeping with one eye open as she is forced to stay at home with her family – who she doesn't trust. Meanwhile, Jason's odd behavior and Kenneth DiLaurentis' search for Jessica starts to raise eyebrows about her disappearance."

The synopsis did not mention Erza, leaving a mystery on whether the character will stay beyond the premiere episode. Will Erza die in the fifth season?

"Pretty Little Liars" season 5 will air on June 10 at ABC Family.
