'Pretty Little Liars' season 5 spoilers: Mona sends text messages from grave; Can the Liars find Mona's body?

The preview for the upcoming episode of "Pretty Little Liars" is crazy intense. The Liars may be closer to finding Mona's body, but "A" won't let them have an easy time with it.

The upcoming episode title is "Over a Barrel" and this will be episode 16 for the show. Based on the preview, the girls are still investigating Mona's death and trying to recover her body. The preview starts with Spencer receiving a text message from Mona, or at least, from one of Mona's gadgets.

Hanna says, "Ghosts don't have fingers, so how was Mona sending us texts?"

Well, Mona is dead and is definitely not sending the messages. According to Wet Paint, it could be "A" sending the messages or the alerts were pre-programmed in her device.

Caleb is seen working hard and it looks like he and Spencer are looking for Mona's missing computer. They want to get a hold of it and maybe, get more information on "A," who might just have it. After all, "A" is always steps ahead of the Liars.

What comes next is the most intense part of the preview, which could very well be the climactic moment of the episode as well. Caleb and Spencer are seen in a room where they discover clothing filled with blood. Then after that, the gang sees a metal barrel in which Caleb speaks out what everyone is thinking — Mona's body could be inside the barrel. The next scene in the preview shows Caleb and Spencer moving toward the metal barrel. Is it possible that Mona's body is there? The title of the episode is "Over the Barrel" after all.

But before making any move, Aria starts to wonder if everything is just a trap for the boys and the Liars. "A" could have concocted the plan to get them in place with the evidence to pin the murder on them.

"Pretty Little Liars" airs its next episode on Jan. 19.
