"Pretty Little Liars" recently aired its season 5 finale and along with it the teaser for season 6 where the Liars now have to face off directly against Charles DiLaurentis who was revealed to be the big "A" and leader of the A-Team all this time. Fans have started speculating about Charles' sexuality and there are rumors that he might be a transgender.

The rumor was first reported by the International Business Times and it points to a fan post via Twitter hinting that Charles may not be a real member of the DiLaurentis family and that he may be a transgender or cross-dresser. There has been no official word from ABC Family to support this, however.

Show writer Bryan M. Holdman also stated during an interview with Time Travel Mystery that the show runners and producers may not feel comfortable about taking the route of Charles as a transgendered character or as a cross-dresser, for that matter. According this his statement, the idea might be "too crazy" for the show to include.

An article from Design Trend also points out to other fan rumors regarding the identity of Charles DiLaurentis and his role as "A." According to the article, there is also a rumor spreading that Charles may not be working alone and instead just one member of a secret society.

Season 6 of "Pretty Little Liars" is also going to jump forward in time. It was announced by executive producer Marlene King via E! News that there would be a time-jump of four years. Season 6 would show the girls graduating from high school and then jumping four years later when they are out of college.

Season 5 ended not only with the revelation of "A" but the girls were trapped in a life-sized dollhouse where Mona was revealed to be alive. How the first few episodes of season 6 deal with this before jumping forward in time is anyone's guess at this point.

Episode 1 of season 6, "Game On, Charles" is scheduled to air in June 2015.
