Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson), Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell), Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario), and Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale) are set to return to Rosewood, where a killer awaits their arrival in the upcoming winter premiere of the hit series "Pretty Little Liars."

Hollywood Life reports that the new villain is from a different mold from A, who was revealed to be Cece Drake (Vanessa Ray). While A was into playing tricks with the girls, "the new big bad" is highly dangerous. Show creator Marlene King said in her interview that Liars' new nemesis has developed a taste for blood, as he or she will get on a killing spree in Rosewood.

For the season 6B premiere, Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) will be throwing a reunion for her friends after being separated for five years. Perez Hilton reveals what the main characters have become after the time jump. Spencer is now pursuing her political aspirations in Capitol Hill, while Aria is a publisher in charge of ex-boyfriend Ezra Fitz's (Ian Harding) books. Hanna has made her dream to be a fashion designer come true, while Emily enjoys her job as a bartender. Allison, for her part, is a teacher in Rosewood.

The said get-together will reportedly turn nasty, as the enemy appears in the picture. This will trigger a new series of mysteries that will keep the girls as tormented as before. King said the Liars would have to be very careful, as he or she is much more dangerous than A.

"The new big bad — I wont say if it's a he or a she. We think it's a he right now, but you never know. The new big bad is more lethal. The new big bad isn't playing a game. The new big bad has an agenda and will not stop at anything before that agenda is taken care of," she said.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 winter premiere will air on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, at 8 p.m. EST on Freeform (formerly ABC Family.)
