The Liars' colorful love lives will continue in the second half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6.

Series creator Marlene King recently shared with Variety that there will be major changes in the romance department of the popular suspense drama series when it returns for the second half of the season.

"It's definitely a sexy season. It's a very romantic season," King shared.

King explained that Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse) will have more time for love after they finally found out who "A" is during the midseason finale.

"The show at its core is romantic, and as the show got deeper and deeper and deeper in who was big 'A' — Charlotte — we sort of ran out of time for the romance," King said. "So when we start up again, it's a little bit slower [in] pace and it reminds me a bit of our earlier seasons with a lot of romance with that mystery."

In the upcoming episodes, fans of the show will find out that Hanna is already engaged with a hot guy named Jordan (David Coussins), which means that she is not with Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) anymore. Aria has broken up with Ezra (Ian Harding) and has a new man named Liam (Roberto Aguire). Spencer and Toby (Keegan Allen) are no longer together either. Emily, on the other hand, is reportedly coping with the pain of her failed relationships.

However, King's revelations in the interview offered a spark of hope for the possible rekindling of romances between former lovers in Rosewood.

"It's romantic, so you'll have to read into that what you will make of it," King said. "I don't want to spoil the ride for anybody, but with Spencer Hastings, I do believe there's hope."

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6B airs Jan. 12, on Freeform (formerly known as ABC Family).
