The lives of the Liars are in danger once more when "Pretty Little Liars" returns to Freeform for season 7.

The trailer for the season 7 premiere starts exactly where season 6 ended, when Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) and Ezra (Ian Harding) found out that their new enemy who wanted to be called "A.D." abducted Hanna (Ashley Benson). This begins the group's battle against time in order to save the life of their friend.

Caleb seems to be willing to do everything that he can in order to save his ex-girlfriend, even if it means that he has to seek the help of Mona (Janel Parrish)  who he does not exactly trust. In one of the sequences in the trailer, the two were talking about the possible involvement of Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse), since her initials are same as that of Hanna's kidnapper.

But the trailer proved that Ali has no involvement in Hanna's abduction, since she was seen being held against her will in the video.

In the season 6 finale, Ali admitted herself inside a mental institution after thinking that she was being followed by her late mother and Detective Darren Wilden (Bryce Johnson). But the truth is, Ali's new husband Elliot Rollins (Huw Collins) and her unknown aunt Mary Drake (Andrea Parker) were the ones who were tormenting her in the first place. But based on the trailer, Ali is not safe inside the mental facility.

The trailer also showed that the remaining Liars -- Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), and Emily (Shay Mitchell) -- must act fast in order to save Hanna, who was hanging in Rosewood's bell tower. But can they reach the tower right on time?

Another trailer showed that the Liars are digging up a grave. Are they burying the body of one of their enemies, or are they trying to hide something again from the Rosewood police in order to save someone?

"Pretty Little Liars" season 7 is slated to return to Freeform on June 21.
