Rosewood will have a hot new detective when "Pretty Little Liars" returns for season 7.

Entertainment Weekly revealed that "The Flash" actor Nicholas Gonzalez will join the cast of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 as Vic Furey, the newly-appointed detective who will be in charge of all the homicide investigations of the Rosewood Police Department.

According to Deadline, Detective Furey will be "a sexy, witty, straight-talker detective." This means that he will join the ranks of Toby Cavanaugh (Keegan Allen), Lorenzo Calderon (Travis Winfrey), and even the late Darren Wilden (Bryce Johnson) as Rosewood's handsome detectives.

But since the Rosewood detectives have a history of pinning all the unsolved crimes to the Liars, it means that the lives of Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario), Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson), Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale), Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell), and Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) might be filled with another series of police investigations. Will Furey blame them for the death of Cece Drake (Vanessa Ray)?

Gonzalez is popularly known for portraying the role of Dante Ramon in "The Flash." He also portrayed several detective roles in the past, including Detective Mike Sandoval on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," Detective Rodriguez on "Melrose Place," and Detective Luke Morales on "Sleepy Hollow."

Meanwhile, the list of the first five episodes for "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 has already been released.

  • Episode 1: "Tick-Tock, Bitches" (June 21)
  • Episode 2: "Bedlam" (June 28)
  • Episode 3: "The Talented Mr. Rollins" (July 5)
  • Episode 4: "Hit and Run, Run, Run" (July 12)
  • Episode 5: "Along Comes Mary" (July 19)

The series will also see the return of actress Tammin Sursok, who will reprise her role as the Liar's visually-impaired foe Jenna Marshall. Ali's aunt Mary Drake, portrayed by actress Andrea Parker, will also return.

The seventh season of "Pretty Little Liars" is scheduled to air its premiere episode on June 21 on Freeform.
