'Prey' DLC news 2018: Bethesda Tweet gives fans hope that a DLC is in the works

First-person shooter game "Prey" was received quite well during its release almost a year ago. There was quite a lot of exploring to do around the galaxy and it would not be hard for anyone to imagine a possible expansion for the game given all the planets. Now it looks like the next downloadable content (DLC) might just be about the moon.

The official Twitter for the game posted a gif of a signage that says "TranStar" as the video slowly pans over to the moon beside it. "Do we really know what's out there?" reads the tweet. It is interesting to note that before this, there has not been much heard about "Prey" since its official release back in May.

If it will indeed be related to the moon, the next proper question to ask would be "what about the moon?" Those who played the game may remember that there was mention of a Pytheas facility that is located "deep in a crater on the Lunar pole, permanently shadowed and surrounded by kilometers of ice."

People on the game's subreddit have already discussed their possible theories on the DLC — whether it would even happen in the first place. The idea alone of a DLC is definitely exciting everyone. One subreddit member even pointed out that KasmaCorp also apparently has its own Twitter account now, per VG247.

Players who follow the trend of the company behind it, especially the publisher, Bethesda, it would make more sense for them to release DLC anytime soon. The "Death of an Outside" expansion for "Dishonored 2" also came out a year after the game's official release.

As for now, there is no news of an official announcement for the potential DLC let alone a release date. If this is all true, then details on it should be coming soon.
