"Prey" fans better get ready as Bethesda's action-horror shooter might be teasing something that is set to arrive for the title -- a new DLC pack that will see players battle it out up in space once again.

In "Prey's" official Twitter handle, a cryptic tweet accompanied by a strange, short video teaser was released, hinting at a possible DLC for the 2017 game.

The tweet which reads "Do we really know what's out there?" sent many fans into overdrive as to what is potentially in store for the alien-themed first-person shooter. The said quip also features a short preview showing a glitching view of the moon.

VG24/7 says that the rumored game update might be a moon-based DLC pack seeing as the game mentions something about a lunar colony.

According to BleedingCool, Bethesda might actually be onto something as the cryptic teaser dropped the same day it confirmed for the E3 2018 show. The publication says that it is highly likely that the game tycoon is planning on a grand announcement for the speculated DLC pack just like it did to last year's "Dishonored: Death of the Outsider." In addition to this, the plan would fall particularly in line with Bethesda's current stand on releasing only single-player titles.

Since its debut last year, news about "Prey" has been mostly silent and scarce. It was received rather well by critics and gamers alike for its compelling storyline; however, it paled in comparison when it came down to the gameplay as various problems on the PC platformer rendered the game as a walk in the park for players.

The game is set inside Talos 1, a fictional space station, where an experiment gone wrong leaves one among the inhabitants aboard the sole survivor of the massacre. Players are then tasked to battle the cause of the crew's misfortune either by enhancing their abilities through normal means or borrowing the power of alien technology.
