British Royal Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle are set to have a film based on their love story, under the care and production of Lifetime television movies. The film will be chronicling just how Markle and Prince Harry came to be, and the pre-production is already under way.

According to reports, the news of the movie, titled "Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story," was announced last Sunday, Jan. 14, by Lifetime's head of programming, Liz Gateley, during the network's Television Critics Association press tour. Gateley then explained that the story will encompass how the couple had met, starting from the story of how they were set up by mutual friends, the lengthy courtship that ensued, up until they had completely fallen in love.

It is safe to assume that a vast number of people are highly interested in catching a glimpse of just how the relationship between Markle and Prince Harry unfolded. Prior to the engagement, the two had kept their relationship a secret from the public. When the relationship was finally announced, it became highly publicized and turned into a global sensation, up until now.

Perhaps, this is the reason why the story could potentially become such a compelling one. As of now, actors are being cast by the production. There are no speculations or news regarding on which actors could take on the roles of Markle and Prince Harry, as well as a definite release date. However, if Lifetime is to follow the previous Royal love story movie of William and Kate, "Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story" could come out even before the wedding.

The movie already has a designated director in Menhaj Huda, who was previously tasked with directing the American television show "The Royals."

The soon-to-be couple publicly announced their engagement back in November, and will tie the knot in May of this year.
