Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's wedding news: Prince William makes funny statement about his brother's engagement

Now that Prince Harry is officially engaged to "Suits" star Meghan Markle, this makes older brother Prince William very excited. And being the Duke of Cambridge does not stop him from being a cheeky brother as he gave a rather funny message for the younger prince.

"For me personally, I hope it means he stays out of my fridge, and stop him scrounging over my food like he's done over the last few years," the 35-year-old royal said in an interview during his official visit to Finland. The royal brothers are both living inside the premises of the Kensington Palace.

Teasing aside, he revealed he is also "pretty excited" for Prince Harry and Markle's upcoming wedding. With that, he is "wishing them all the happiness in this very exciting time."

The Duke of Cambridge confirmed the couple is absolutely in love and it reflects on how they are preparing for their nuptials. As he seemed like recalling his own engagement with Middleton, he described that arranging their special day is a "fantastic process to go through" -- from the engagement to the wedding.

With all the things Prince Harry and Markle have to organize, Prince William assured that they will have a lot of happy times together while planning. And although they are too contained preparing at the moment, he wished him happiness and success in putting their nuptials in order.

Meanwhile, in the pair's engagement interview, Prince Harry and Meghan revealed how simple the proposal went. According tot the couple, while they were enjoying an evening inside Nottingham Cottage and roasting a chicken, the 33-year-old Prince Henry of Wales popped the question.

Last Monday, Nov. 27, Clarence House, Prince Charles and Camilla's official residence, announced on its Twitter page that Prince Harry and Markle are officially engaged. The prince already told his close family members and Queen Elizabeth II about it, while he also asked permission from the 36-year-old actress' parents.

Their first official engagement takes place this Friday, Dec. 1, in Nottingham. They are set to get married at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle in spring 2018. The two first met on a blind date in July 2016 organized by their mutual friend.
