Prince Harry has been a focal point of gossip due to his pending nuptials with American actress, Meghan Markle. However, the British prince has taken time out to involve himself with global matters, and has recently visited Chicago, Illinois, to give a talk at an Obama Foundation summit. He attended the summit on Oct. 31, Tuesday, and addressed hundreds of people.

In a report by CBC, Prince Harry discussed matters of youth leadership and spoke to civic leaders, as well as artists. He stated that his past experiences in the army have been a key element in realizing his privileged stature. Given that his very high status in the U.K., he was sparked to be more involved with world matters and get out of his comfort zone. After all, he is deemed to be a very influential person by most people.

According to the Chicago Sun Times, Prince Harry stated, "Once you realize the effect that your name and your position can have you have to spend every living day trying to bring people together and trying to make the most of that position," which is a clear message as to how the Prince is attempting to do some good. Additionally, he also mentioned his late mother, Princess Diana, and called her an "ideal role model."

Prince Harry did not touch on the subject about his mother for very long though, and moved on to other things. Additionally, Prince Harry also expressed that he has a lot of hope for the next generation. The Prince stated that the children are going to be the "curers" of the problems prevalent in this world, and he strongly feels that eventually, they are the ones who will be able to find the solutions. He also recognized that children are capable of things in this day and age that most adults will probably fail at.

After the Prince's talk, he and former first lady, Michelle Obama, walked together to visit a nearby high school, according to The Press Herald.
