When "Prison Break" season 5 airs, Sara Tancredi will have a new man in his life. Actor Mark Feuerstein has been cast as Scott Ness, the husband of the widow doctor. This casting news had many wondering what will become of Tancredi's first husband Michael Scofield.

In the series finale of the show that aired in 2009, Wentworth Miller's character died but the actor is still signed up to reprise the role. It remains to be seen how he will come back, but it looks like he won't have a wife to return to if he decides to rise from the dead.

For a while now, there have been rumors that Scofield's death in "Prison Break" season 4 will be revealed as staged in season 5. FOX is yet to confirm this, though, but the network promises a "logical and believable" explanation for his homecoming.

This, in a way, hints that Scofield may not be dead after all. However, Sara being under the impression that her husband has already met his maker complicates things, especially now that she seems to have moved on already and has managed to find new love.

As for Scott Ness, the "Royal Pains" star's character and Sara's new other half is an "anxious" professor of economics at Cornell. He is described as someone who does not have much trust in the government.

Feuerstein's casting proves that Sara will still be in "Prison Break" season 5 and that Sarah Wayne Callies could still be the person to play the role. The last time she spoke about reprising her role, the actress said that both she and the network are trying to make it work despite her schedule.

"Prison Break" season 5 still has no premiere date but is expected to begin later this year or early next year. Dominic Purcell is also returning as Lincoln Burrows in the new season.
