Sarah Wayne Callies has finally received the official call for the return of her character Sara Tancredi in the upcoming "Prison Break" reboot, but the actress confirmed that they have to make several adjustments to get her back on the show.

In an exclusive interview with Flickering Myth, Callies explained why she cannot confirm at this point if she will be part of the "Prison Break" reboot.

"I have gotten the call, and we're really working on it," the actress shared. "I'm on a new show called Colony, they've just picked us up for a second series, so we're doing the schedule puzzle pieces now. I've gotta have faith they're going to make it work because they know how much it means to me, and it means a lot to them to, so fingers crossed there'll be good news."

Callies told Digital Spy that the thought of going back to the iconic TV series is actually a great idea. "It's a really interesting challenge to think about resurrecting a character I said goodbye to six years ago...hopefully they work it out, because I very much want to be part of it."

While Callies's return to the series remains unconfirmed, it was revealed that "Royal Pains" star Mark Feuerstein will join the serial crime thriller as Sara's husband named Scott Ness.

While there are no official details about Feuerstein's character, several speculations claim that the actor could probably portray a new antagonist in the series. However, other reports claim that Scott will be the reason why Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Sara have finally fixed their relationship.

But how will Michael and Sara patch things up if she is already married to Scott? Does it mean that the prison doctor will leave her new husband to be with Michael?

The official release date of the new season of "Prison Break" has yet to be revealed.
