The return of Fox's "Prison Break" for its fifth season promises to be an exciting one with Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) needing help from his brother to escape from a Yemeni prison.

It has also been reported that his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) will do everything in his power to save Michael, but because of the dangers involved, someone could perish in the process of escaping from imprisonment.

A report by Movie News Guide hinted that the storyline could take its cue from Greek mythology's "The Odyssey" wherein Odysseus — the King of Ithaca — travels for ten years to return home after the fall of Troy. In his absence, however, he is presumed dead and his wife Penelope is being courted by numerous suitors.

"The Odyssey" tells the story of how he reclaimed his wife and son, as well as his Kingdom with the help of the goddess Athena.

In the last season of "Prison Break," it has been presumed that Michael perished after trying to save his love interest Dr. Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies). When the show returns, Sara is expected to be married to Scott Ness, the character portrayed by "Royal Pains" actor Mark Feuerstein, reported TVLine.

Aside from Feuerstein, Digital Spy also reported the addition of a new love interest for Lincoln Burrows. Activist Sheba (Inbar Lavi) will provide a bit of romance to the dangererous lifestyle of Lincoln.

Rick Yune of the "Fast and the Furious" franchise has also been cast as Ja, a gifted identity thief who can probably help the brothers break out of prison. Augustus Prew has also been added to the cast as Whip, and actor Amin El Gamal will play the role of "Cyclops."

Marina Benedict of "Torchwood" fame will play the character "A&W," while Kunal Sharma will play one of the more colorful new characters in the season named Sid.
