Paul Adelstein becomes the latest original cast member to return in "Prison Break" season 5. It has been confirmed that the actor will be back as fan-favorite Paul Kellerman.

Adelstein himself broke the news by sharing a photo on Instagram, where he donned Kellerman's signature suit and sunglasses and shared a caption reminiscent of what his character was up to when fans last saw him in "Prison Break."

When the fourth season of "Prison Break" wrapped up, the former Secret Service agent was about to become a U.S. congressman and was after the presidential seat.

By the end of the show's 2005-2009 run, Kellerman decided to turn away from his evil ways but his dark past continues to catch up with him despite his efforts to change for the better. "Prison Break" season 5 will allow fans to see what he's become.

Adelstein is just one of the many original cast members returning in the "Prison Break" reboot. Not too long ago, it was confirmed that Robert Knepper, Rockmond Dunbar and Amaury Nolasco will all return.

The actors play the roles of T-Bag, C-Note and Sucre, respectively, who are reputed to be the three of the most notorious fugitives from the Fox River State Penitentiary.

Also, after serious discussions and fears that her schedule would get in the way, Sarah Wayne Callies was finally confirmed to reprise her role as Sara Trancedi in "Prison Break" season 5.

In the reboot, the doctor and Dominic Purcell's Lincoln Burrows "reunite to engineer the series' biggest escape ever" after clues that point to Wentworth Miller's Michael Scofield being alive emerge. This task will also involve C-Note, T-Bag and Sucre.

"Royal Pains" star Mark Feuerstein was cast as Sara's new husband and this situation should complicate things for Sara and Scofield in "Prison Break" season 5.

"Prison Break" season 5 has no premiere date at the moment but FOX promises that it will air during its 2016-2017 television season.
