The fifth season of hit series "Prison Break" is expected to bring a lot of emotional moments for its viewers. 

According to the Movie News Guide, a lot of hints have been dropped about the newest season on social media in terms of its spoilers and storyline. As such, fans will be able to see the biggest prison break with the original cast taking up their roles once again. It will include Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), and Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies).

Last season, fans thought that Michael Scofield has been killed, but it turns out that he is alive but incarcerated in Yemen. As such, Sara and Lincoln will plan to break him out of the prison as well as the country. With the production underway for quite a while now, it is rumored that this breakout will be a major one in the series.

In its recent promotion, the series has revealed that a whole new set of elements will be involved alongside the main prison break elemnt. Actually, according to Game N Guide, Miller himself told the fans that the newest season of Prison Break will be more revealing compared to its predecessors.

More speculations also reveal that it is possible for Michael to be reunited with Sara. However, they will probably have a new relationship instead since the latter is already married off to a businessman who also agreed to raise Michael's son as his own.

Also, with the "Prison Break" series's popularity steadily increasing, it is still worth noting that while the earlier season only had U.S. locations for its shots, the new season will focus on making it globalized in order to get more fans worldwide.

The fifth season of "Prison Break" will have nine episodes and will premiere sometime in 2017 on Fox.
