PS Plus February 2018 news: Free games list revealed

Sony being playful with its latest offerings for its PlayStation users for February, as the entertainment company has revealed its roster of free games for PS Plus for the month.

One thing to note is that these free PS (3, 4, and Vita) games will only be available to those who have a PS Plus subscription. As for those who do not have an account, it is not too late to apply with only $59.99 for 12 months and $24.99 for three months. The price of the monthly plan remains at $9.99.

First up in the list of free games is "Rime," available for the PS4. It is a single player adventure puzzle game. "Rime" is set in a beautiful world where you play as a young boy who has awakened on a mysterious island after a torrential storm. Players must then control the young boy and use their wits and knowledge to overcome the challenges and puzzles of the mysterious island and unlock its secrets.

The next big game is "Knack," which is a PS4-exclusive released back in 2013. "Knack" is a family-friendly adventure game where players will get to take control of the titular protagonist Knack and his signature size-shifting abilities to protect the world from a dangerous threat, which is a Goblin army bent on invading the land. "Knack" is famous for its vibrant world and unique and fantastic abilities, as well as enemies which let players experience an extraordinary adventure.

The rest of the games consist of high-definition (HD) remasters of the PS franchise's older games like "Spelunker HD," which is available for the PS3 but is also backward-compatible with the PS4 for those who only have the latest console. "Mugen Souls Z" is also available for owners of both the PS3 and PS4. Those who own a PS Vita will also get "Exiles End" and "Grand Kingdom" for free, with the latter also being available for the PS4.

As stated above, this will only be available for PS Plus subscribers.
