PS Plus free games for February 2015: Sony to give out another AAA title? Transistor, Killzone Shadow Fall, Knack, also among predictions

PlayStation Europe community manager Chris Owen has recently informed PlayStation Plus subscribers that this week will be the unveiling of the games that will be made free for PS Plus members to play on the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. "This week all being well," the community manager tweeted to a user inquiring of the announcement date. Prior to that, Owen also stated that "PlayStation Plus - February 2015 Guess Thread" is the most viewed topic among the others in "PlayStation Community," which only means that fans cannot wait any longer for these free games to be revealed.

While the throng of PlayStation faithfuls lies in wait for the shower of free goodies, they used the waiting time to make a wish list for Sony. In the aforementioned forum site, gamers have elected 2014 science fiction action role-playing video game "Transistor" and Team17's artillery strategy video game "Worms: Battlegrounds" as the best games Sony could put forward for PS4 owners.

Product Reviews also broached the huge liking for "Killzone Shadow Fall" and platforming beat 'em up video game "Knack." Users of PS3 request for the adventure game "Rain" and "Resident Evil: Revelations." Lastly, PS Vita owners would love to get skateboarding video game "Olli Olli" and "Toukiden."

And as previously speculated, an AAA game is yet again expected to be part of the array of free titles. In addition, games like "Criminal Girls: Invite Only," "Evolve" and "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" make up a portion of the huge anticipation of PS Plus members. If one or two of these wished-for games ever make it to the February list, fans will know soon.

Meanwhile, players still have three days to enjoy Sucker Punch's action-adventure video game "Infamous: First Light." Other games free in the month of January include "The Swapper," "Prototype 2," "Duck Tales Remastered" and "Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition."
