The PlayStation Plus program has been one of the many successful ventures by Sony to keep players continually interested on the PlayStation lineups. Currently, the PS Plus program cycles every month, and for the month of July, Sony has made available a combination of older but much loved titles and recent releases such as the multiplayer ball platformer "Rocket League" and the fantasy stealth game "Styx: Master of Shadows." Other titles for the PS3 and PS Vita are also included, the same as with previous PS Plus lineups.

The current lineup for the PS Plus free games download list had some fans expecting another surprise for the month of August, and some observers even venture guesses that include some triple A titles.

According to speculations, for its PS Plus program offering nexth month, Sony might include the upcoming "Galak-Z," an animated arcade-style shooter title from 17-BIT Games. The upcoming game will be released on Aug. 4, and since it was already confirmed that the August lineup for PS Plus will come out on the first Tuesday of the month, Sony might well include "Galak-Z" to give the game more exposure. The title has also been recently included in Sony's PLAY 2015, its summer sale lineup for this year, as a pre-release discount title.

Meanwhile, some gamers have posted on the community page of the US Playstation blog that for this coming August, some big-name indie titles might be included in the mix. With "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture" already included in the current PLAY 2015 summer sale, some observers are saying that another indie title, "Gaunlet: Slayer Edition," might make the cut.

In addition, triple-A titles are also expected to be included, and some players are asking for choices between "The Last of Us," "Naughty Dogs," and "Resident Evil HD."
