Good news for PlayStation 3 players who want to get the best games – the Playstation Now network will be coming to the old-gen console this month. 

Beginning May 12, players will be able to access the PlayStation Now network using a PlayStation 3, and play more than 100 titles with a monthly subscription. To start with the service, players can first take advantage of the free seven-day trial for a subscription in the PlayStation Now network.

Charges for the service will range from a one-month subscription worth $19.99 to a three months subscription priced at $44.99. 

In a post on the official PlayStation Blog, senior director Jack Buser said, "Now you'll be able to play a huge library of more than 100 hit PS3 games on Playstation 4 and Playstation 3, as well as select Sony Blu-ray players and TVs, all for one monthly price. That's an incredible number of games to binge on — and of course, you can play your games across devices with cloud saves." 

He then added, "The subscription will be coming to more devices soon, and will be adding new games monthly so you always have something fresh to play." 

This means that the PlayStation Now service would also expand and will be coming to other PlayStation devices like the PS Vita.

Aside from the announcement of the service expansion, Buser also listed and highlighted this month's upcoming additional titles for the PlayStation Now service. The new games include: "Fat Princess," a battle royale set with a medieval gameplay; "F1 2014," a Formula One racing simulator; "Sanctum 2," a combined tower defense and first person shooter title; "Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce," a multiplayer questing game; and the highly relaxing yet addicting "Farming Simulator." 

Sony started the PlayStation Now subscriptions early this year for the PlayStation 4, and is currently on open beta for other PlayStation devices.
