ABC's latest drama thriller "Quantico" earned rave reviews for its premiere episode last Sunday, which show FBI recruit Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) became a suspect in the most dangerous terrorism attack in New York City since Sept. 11, 2001.

The pilot episode began with a flash forward where Alex is seen in the ruins of New York's Grand Central Station after a deadly terror attack. Then the episode featured different time frames before the terrorist attack, leading to Alex's arrest. By the end of the episode, Alex managed to escape the authorities with the help of her Quantico mentor Miranda Shaw (Aunjanue Ellis).

In the upcoming episode, viewers will see how Alex will use her time while on the run to prove her innocence.

The synopsis of "Quantico" episode 2, titled "America," is posted on ABC's website, which reads:

"Alex is on the run and must outsmart Liam (Josh Hopkins) and his team to get into her apartment for anything that could help clear her name. Meanwhile, in a flashback to Quantico training, the NATS are tasked with finding a needle in a haystack while looking for potential threats to national security."

Meanwhile, "Quantico" series creator Joshua Safran revealed to Entertainment Weekly that two new characters will be introduced in the series. One of them is the Texan cop Nathalie Vazquez (Anabelle Acosta), who has always dreamed of being an FBI agent. This character is described as a very determined recruit who will do everything to beat Alex so she can be called the best in their training.

The other character is Elias Harper (Rick Cosnett), who will be seen at the Quantico facility. Elias is described as an openly gay man, and he has his eyes set on Simon Asher (Tate Ellington), the first openly gay trainee in the FBI.

"Quantico" episode 2 will air on Sunday, Oct. 4, on ABC.
