Alex (Priyanka Chopra) resorts to extreme measures to take down the enemy in the upcoming episode of ABC's "Quantico" season 2.

Titled "GLOBALREACH," next week's episode will see Alex's struggles as an undercover asset. According to the official synopsis, Alex gets ready to risk it all as she and Owen (Blair Underwood) attempt to infiltrate the Collaborators. When the organization starts to test her loyalty, Alex soon discovers that she has become a pawn in its plan. It turns out the people in the organization were just using her to take down both the task force and the president.

Producer Beth Schacter recently spoke with Hollywood Life to share some insights into the episodes to come. Schacter notes that fans will enjoy the next episodes as Alex and Owen encounter new obstacles in their undercover mission. She also teased that viewers should look forward to when the other members of the team find out about Alex and Owen's secret.

"I think it's going to be fun in the next episodes," the producer said. ". . . It's a great way for our characters to start working out their emotions — how Ryan feels, how Shelby feels, how Clay feels. . . . There's a lot of interpersonal dynamics in the team that are going to be worked out and come to crisis because she's seemingly betrayed them."

Alex and Owen are obviously going to spend more time together because of their story arc. Fans are beginning to speculate whether the duo could become more than just friends. While Schacter admitted that the two characters have a "very deep emotional connection," she stressed that they are currently more focused on their mission instead of anything else. If one thing is for sure, Alex greatly appreciates Owen's honesty compared to Ryan (Jake McLaughlin), whose first approach to her was a lie.

"Owen has never lied to her," Schacter added. "That's what it's about. It's not about the romantic relationship for her. He really knows who she is, and he's really been honest with her. That's the first person she's really had that with."

The second season of "Quantico" airs every Monday at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
