"Quantico" season 2 is coming back this Sunday with a new action packed storyline as Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) officially starts a new phase of her life as a CIA agent.

Promotional photos of "Quantico" season 2 are spreading on internet as its premiere date comes closer, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect this Sept. 25.

Alex will start the second season as a new trainee in the CIA's secret training facility, "The Farm." While Alex trains at the "The Farm," she will meet a new face, Lydia Bates (Tracy Ifeachor), who may soon become her roommate and potential close friend just like Shelby Wyatt (Johanna Braddy) back in season 1.

Aside from her co-trainee, Alex will also welcome a new superior, Owen Hall (Blair Underwood), into her circle, as she trains at "The Farm."

"Quantico" fans can also expect more new faces in the franchise's second installment, including Dayana Mampasi (Pearl Thusi), Harry Doyle (Russell Tovey), and Leon Velez (Aaron Diaz).

Even though season 2 of "Quantico" is said to introduce many new characters, familiar ones from the previous season are also to return. One familiar face returning from the first season is agent Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin), who was shown in "Quantico's" new promotional trailer in what looks like a proposal.

Moreover, Ryan's character is also said to cross paths with one of the twins, Raina Amin (Yasmine Al Massri) in season 2. The two will be working together with the aim of preventing terrorists from disguising themselves as hostages.

Fans can also expect the return of the major characters from "Quantico's" season 1. Such include Nimah Anwar (Yasmine Al Massri), Shelby Wyatt (Johanna Braddy), Caleb Hass (Graham Rogers), Liam O'Connor (Josh Hopkins), Simon Asher (Tate Ellington), and Miranda Shaw (Aunjanue Ellis), as shown in the second season's official trailer.

"Quantico" season 2 will air on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
