While details about the premiere episode have yet to be released, it can be speculated that Alex Parrish (Chopra) will contemplate the job offer of Matthew Keyes (Henry Czerny) to transfer from the FBI to the CIA.

Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that "L.A. Law" alum Blair Underwood was tapped to portray a series regular role in the sophomore season of "Quantico."

The actor will play the role of Owen Hall, a charming CIA officer who "every fledgling operative wishes he or she could learn from." But according to reports, the character might be teaching his colleagues several skills that he could use for his own benefit in the future.

According to series creator Josh Safran, "Blair Underwood is the kind of actor you dream of writing for. Be it romantic comedy, dark drama, or high-octane thriller — there is nothing he can't do. We look forward to creating a role that will showcase his huge range and boundless charisma."

Underwood will join another series regular newbie Russell Tovey. The British actor, who appeared in HBO Original series "Looking," will portray the role of the mischievous partygoer named Harry Doyle.

"The mysterious Harry can be anything to anybody — and is just as likely to seduce your husband as he is to pick his pocket when it's over," his character description states.

The sophomore season of "Quantico" is scheduled to premiere on ABC on Sunday, Sept. 25.
