The first-person shooter video game by developers, Ubisoft, "Rainbow Six Siege," will be releasing a co-operative event titled "Outbreak" for its loyal fan base as a Year 3 special for the game. Along with the update, players will also get the opportunity to play two new maps, as well as eight brand new operators of their choice.

In a report by IGN, the "Outbreak" is the first co-op game mode for "Rainbow Six Siege." "Outbreak" will be subsumed under the bigger umbrella of content released for the Year 3 post-launch content of the game called "Operation Chimera." Given the name "Operation Chimera," many video gamers and fans are currently speculating that the upcoming third season pass will have a zombie theme to it, much like "Call of Duty Nazi Zombies."

However, the full reveal of these details will commence sometime in 2018 at Montreal, Canada. Video Gamer has stated that Year 3 content will be set-up to give players a total of four seasons. Along with the "Outbreak" event, two brand new operators will be released on the first season, both of which will be biohazard specialists. These new operators will be playable in the normal multiplayer event as well.

The "Outbreak" event will grant player four weeks of free co-op experience. The new content that is still being released for "Rainbow Six Siege" is a testament that a great quality game can still thrive without the annoying presence of microtransactions — especially those that are pay-to-win. According to Screen Rant, the latest content that was released for the game is "Operation White Noise," which is meant to cap off the year 2017 for players.

Released on Nov. 20, the setting of "Operation White Noise" will be in Seoul, Korea, wherein players will be tasked to rescue a VIP in the thick of a deadly battle zone. Along with the latest content is a few minor bug fixes as well as a new weapon for players to use. On top of that, the developers also tweaked some of the game mechanics in order to improve the overall player experience.
