Ubisoft was expected to release a season 2 for "Rainbow Six Siege" that was supposed to be based in Hong Kong, but due to some difficulties, the company has decided to delay the release for at least another three months.

Ubisoft said in their blog that for the next three months they will be focusing on "Operation Health." This operation will focus on three main aspects of the game, which are technological improvements, a new deployment process and bug fix sprints. These changes are Ubisoft's way of investing their time for their players and the community's continued growth in the future.

With the current target on "Operation Health," Ubisoft is set to release their Hong Kong-based season along with season 3 in August, while the South Korea-based season 4 will be released in November. The game developer had to make several changes and forego some plans on their roadmap for this year, including their Spain map, to make way for "Operation Health."

Although the release date has changed, gamers can still expect certain updates with the Hong Kong-based season of "Rainbow Six Siege." The updates include new operators, along with new gadgets. It's reported that the new operator, Caltrop, will have two new different types of mines. One of them will be explosive, while the other will be poisonous. Caltrop will also be able to use a QBZ-95 automatic rifle.

The other new operator will be called Dazzler. Although not much is known about the type of gadgets he'll be using in the game, it's apparent that his gadget will cause enemies to lose their sight.

Although there will be new gadgets in the upcoming season, gamers will still be familiar with some items that they will encounter. Some of these items include Valkyrie Pro League Charm, Mute Reptile Bundle and Capitao Elite Skin.

Gamers can check Ubisoft's blog for more updates about the release of their new seasons.
