The popular tactical shooter game "Rainbow Six Siege" is getting their "Operation Chimera" in the coming month. The official release date has recently been revealed, as well as a lot of new additions to the game. Players will be able to get their hands on two new operators, in addition to more features, for the title's limited-time Outbreak mode.

The two new operators that would be added to the game come from the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CRBN) Threat Unit as a part of the Counter-Terrorism Unit. As for who or what these operators really are, their identities have not actually been revealed yet, let alone the full extent of their capabilities.

That said, there is some background information about them, which Ubisoft teased its fans with. Apparently, one operator comes from France while the other is from Russia. The French operator will be specializing in drones in order to take control of an area. This may sound familiar, as players can normally control drones, but the brief teaser released has not revealed the major differences between this new and upcoming French operator and the players that can already control drones.

The Russian operator is actually not originally Russian, as he or she only moved to Russia to study more about nanobot technologies. That said, these nanobot technologies would be his or her specialty. According to the official blog post, he or she learned "a range of applications for self-dissolving nanobot."

Unfortunately, these operators would not be available permanently. These two new operators would only be available for the duration of their limited-time event Outbreak. As the name implies, players will be tasked to control or contain an "epidemic" outbreak.

Those who own "Rainbow Six Siege" will get Operation Chimera for free. It will be coming out on March 6, 2018.
