With the scheduled release of the final DLC expansion pack for the highly popular first person shooter video game, "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege," fans of the game are now wondering about the future of the game itself and if it would still be getting the support of its developers moving forward. Now, Ubisoft revealed that it would indeed be supporting the game with even more content in 2017.

According to Ubisoft, they will apparently be releasing more content for the game after the release of "Operation Black Crow" at the end of the year. Some reports have speculated that players may be in for another season of DLCs that will introduce more multiplayer maps and more operators next year. As of the moment, there is still no confirmation if this is indeed Ubisoft's plan for the game in the coming year.

The game's final DLC expansion pack, titled "Operation Red Crow," will be the last of four DLCs that have been released so far. The game's DLCs have been set in different locations with each one coming with their own set of operators. "Operating Black Ice," set in Canada, was released back in February. It was then followed by "Operating Dust Line," set in the Middle East, released back in May. The last one that was released is called "Operation Skull Rain," set in Brazil, which was released back in August.

The game has thus far received a total of four new maps, not counting the one that will be included in "Operation Red Crow." Ubisoft has, however, already revealed to fans some details about the new map that will be coming with the last DLC. The map will apparently be a classic Japanese structure which has been constructed on top of a skyscraper. The two operators that will be included in the new DLC have also been revealed to be two new combatants called Echo and Hibana. The two units will round up the total number of post-release operators to eight operators all in all.
