The next expansion content for Ubisoft's first-person shooter, "Rainbow Six: Siege," is due to arrive next week.

According to an announcement by Ubisoft, the new content, dubbed as "Operation Dust Line," is scheduled to roll out on May 11. Meanwhile, hardcore fans of the franchise got an early sneak peek into the upcoming DLC at weekend, as Ubisoft officially unveiled the new DLC on Saturday, May 7 via the developer's Twitch channel. The event precedes the official PC Pro League Grand Final for "Rainbow Six: Siege."

"Operation Dust Line" introduces two new special operators, both from the Defender and Attacker classes. The first one is named Valkyrie, and works best in reconnaissance since the operator works with sticky cameras. These accessories can be attached to any surface and is accessible to all of the members in the team. The operator's main weapon is a SPAS-12 shotgun.

Meanwhile, Blackbeard is an Attacker best used as a frontline both for defense and offense, since the operator has a Desert Eagle with a shield mounted on it. As a frontliner, the shield works best both as cover and real-time shelter as team members try to assess the mission.

The two new operators are part of the Navy Seals, since the second DLC has a "U.S. special forces" theme. Aside from the two new operators, there will also be a new map to be unlocked, set somewhere in the Middle East.

The May 11 release date for "Operation Dust Line" is an early access exclusive for Season Pass holders of "Rainbow Six: Siege." Regular players will get access to the expansion content the week after. The release itself is already an adjusted one, according to observers, since the release of the first DLC, "Operation Black Ice," has already been delayed.
