Ed Cochran (Hank Azaria) may have found his one chance to take revenge on Ray (Liev Schreiber) in the upcoming episode of Showtime's crime drama series.

In "One Night in Yerevan," Cartermatt reports that the disgraced FBI agent who got entangled with Mickey (Jon Voight) and Ray over the Sully (James Woods) affair is back to cause trouble. Last season, his sexual tricks were bared for the world to see when his erotic video was leaked by Ray. The latter was furious with Cochran when he found out that Kate McPherson (Vinessa Shaw) had been killed because of him. Cochran, for his part, has not forgiven Ray ever since.

It appears, however, that his chance for payback has come. Ray just found out that Cochran is also working for the same National Football League (NFL) deal he has been brokering for the Finney family. The company was about to hand over the deal to Paige (Katie Holmes), but they still needed one last minority stakeholder's signature. They then hired Cochran to find where this investor is, as he seems to have disappeared.

Now that the FBI agent knows he is holding a major coup in his hands, it is highly likely that he will use it to get Ray into trouble. Will Cochran really blow up the deal for Ray and the Finneys? In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, Azaria revealed what his character's plans are for Ray and whether he has forgiven him for what happened.

"It brings up a lot of hurt and anger. You'll see in the next episode what his plan is based on that information. It is all very under the surface. What are these people going to do to each other and when are they going to find the time to do it? They're certainly not happy to run into each other. Although maybe Cochran is because he does see an opportunity to get even in some way," said Azaria.

"Ray Donovan" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on Showtime.
