Mickey pisses Ray one last time in the upcoming episode of "Ray Donovan."Showtime

Mickey (Jon Voight) throws himself a goodbye party before he leaves Los Angeles in the upcoming episode of the crime drama series "Ray Donovan."

In "Poker," Showtime reports that the elder Donovan will manage to piss his son Ray (Liev Schreiber) one last time before he heads out of town by organizing and hosting his own farewell shindig. After managing to extricate Mickey out of a tricky situation involving the Minassians and the authorities, Ray begged his father to leave Los Angeles so that entire family could breathe easy once again.

Mickey has caused a lot of sleepless nights to his children after getting involved with the sex trafficking syndicate. The fact the he himself double crossed that Armenian mobster family by agreeing to work with the police earned him a shoot-to-kill order by sight. Getting him out of town was the only way Ray could think off to douse the fire that his father created. Luckily, Mickey agreed on the plan, but Ray did not expect that the former would still have time to host a party prior to his departure.

Meanwhile, the promo released by the network shows Ray and Paige (Katie Holmes) deep in conversation. According to Cartermatt, Ray is trying to convince her to take his side in the brewing investigation that Ed Cochran (Hank Azaria) started. Last episode, the disgraced FBI agent has discovered the missing fire poker from the Finney's mansion that he believed to be the murder weapon used on Varick Strauss (Jason Butler Harner).

Cochran is onto something, and Ray knows that soon, he will be able to uncover everything about the murder. He then chooses to take the leap and approach Paige to get her to side with him in case Andrew (Ian McShane) decides to drop him like a hot potato. Paige cannot believe that Ray expects her to go against her father, but the latter knows her number real well. Who will Paige support if worse comes to worst in the Strauss investigation?

"Ray Donovan" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on Showtime.
