Ray (Liev Schrieber) will invariably come in between Paige (Katie Holmes) and Andrew (Ian McShane) in the upcoming episode of Showtime's crime drama series "Ray Donovan."

In "Handshake Deal," Cartermatt reports that the Finney patriarch and his daughter will squabble over Ray's new mission. While the two certainly do not have the normal father-offspring relationship, they usually keep their misunderstandings in check. This time, however, is different.

Paige will purportedly ask Ray to "jump her father's ship" and work for her instead. According to TV Fanatic, the younger Finney will convince Ray to be exclusively employed under her management. She will even go as far as to challenge him whether he can stand being in close proximity with a callous man such as Andrew.

Meanwhile, Mickey (Jon Voight) and Daryl (Pooch Hall) will find that it is not always smooth sailing in the "hosting" business. As for Bunchy (Dash Mihok), he will experience some much-needed action in his life, courtesy of a strong, lusty woman.

Last episode, Ray got Terry (Eddie Marsan) successfully out or prison. He immediately got his hands full of another dilemma, however, when Paige came strong at him and played up at his emotions.

Trying to use Ray for her own good, Paige got womanly on him and asked him what he would do if her father commanded to do "cruel things" to her. She received a backhanded reply, however, as Ray made it clear that he worked under Andrew and not for her. 

Ray, for his part, was busy figuring out who Varick (Jason Butler Harner) really was, instead of focusing on the vindictive woman. He wanted to know how he was connected to the Finneys, aside from being the family organization's chief of staff.

"Ray Donovan" airs Sunday at 9 p.m. EST on Showtime.
