'Real Housewives of Atlanta' cast travel to the Philippines to mend broken friendship

'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 7

The cast of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" goes to the Philippines for some rest and recreation. But their supposed trip to paradise turns out to be a hellish vacation as the ladies continue to bash each other.

The Philippine trip was staged by Claudia Jordan with the help of Dr. Jeff, who believes that the girls need to take some time off to be together on a trip to be able to mend their broken relationships. But instead of a peaceful break, the housewives continue to throw shades against each other.

The first of the three-part episode starts on a positive note, when Claudia and Phaedra Parks begin to bond with each other as the former helps the latter deal with her marital woes. Then Phaedra goes with Kandi Burruss to a local healing sanctuary for some therapeutic sessions, where the former besties decide to mend their relationship by being more open with each other.

However, the peaceful vibe took the backseat during the group dinner when Phaedra and Cynthia Bailey refuse to talk and apologize to each other.

The group is also incomplete during their trip to the Philippines since everyone's favorite enemy NeNe Leakes refused to join them during the show's Southeast Asian getaway.

Furthermore, it seems like the trip fails to serve its purpose since one of the housewives was reportedly banned during the recent filming of the show's reunion episode for "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 7. A source told RadarOnline that Demetria McKinney was not asked to return for the reunion episode taping.

According to the source, "The producers didn't feel that Demetria had enough to bring to the table."

Porsha Williams is also missing during the first half of the reunion episode as the feisty housewife came in late during the taping.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs every Sunday on Bravo.
