"Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 7 will feature a major shake-up in its cast. There will be new housewives on board, while the older ones will be taking a backseat this season.

Porsha Williams, who has always been a star of "RHOA" is reported to have a downgraded role. From popular Atlanta housewife, she will now just be a friend to the cast. Joining her in that role is newcomer Demetria McKinney, who will also have a recurring friend role in the reality show.

On the other hand, newcomer Claudia Jordan will be taking a full-time housewife role this season. All eyes are on her now, and every "RHOA" fan is anticipating what she'll bring to the table for season 7. However, Jordan revealed that she didn't even know she was upgraded to a full-time housewife and she was very surprised about it.

Jordan, as a co-host in the "Rickey Smiley Morning Show," shared the story of how she discovered she will be a full-time Atlanta housewife. She also shared her thoughts on being part of the reality show.

"I thought I was just coming on the show as someone's homegirl, you know, just to bring a little new energy to the show," Jordan said. "When I got home, I looked on the internet and that's how I found out. I was pretty surprised."

Who wouldn't be? Taking a full and center role in "Real Housewives of Atlanta" is a huge undertaking, and there's pressure involved for the housewife to bring drama into the show. Ratings are very important for the "Real Housewives" franchise, which is why Bravo has to shakeup cast members in the different shows.

Jordan is really no stranger to reality TV. She was a model for "Deal or No Deal" and was part of "Celebrity Apprentice" for seasons 2 and 6. Yet, the model and actress still feels intimidated with "Real Housewives of Atlanta." She might be scared of the girls?

"I was always nervous about reality TV...It always scared me. If anyone kinda starts with me, I will pop off and say something smart, but there will be no violence; there will be no embarrassing myself. I'm 41 years old. I'll probably pull a hamstring or something," Jordan said jokingly.
