'Real Housewives of Atlanta' season 7: NeNe Leakes to exit show, Apollo Nida to launch tell-all book before heading to jail

Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 7: NeNe Leakes to Exit Show, Apollo Nida to Release Tell-All Before Heading to Jail

While the upcoming seventh season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" has been slotted to premiere this fall, one of its regular stars, NeNe Leakes, is expected to leave the show.

The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant has taken to social media and has been posting Twitter updates since this new season's production began. It seems that once her contract ends, just in time for the reunion recap episode, Leakes will not be returning to the show.

In one of the messages that she had written, the "Housewives" star admitted that she preferred to exit the show and find her peace of mind outside of the set.

Leakes tweeted: "Imagine working with somebody who is evil inside and out. But, yet they want an apology for what now? I can't wait to be outta this circle!"

She also added: "Pray for me."

As such, the TV franchise's producers have reportedly considered Tiny Harris, star of reality TV show "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle", to fill in the gap.

However, Harris explained that she has other major plans of overseeing her own shows rather than joining others where she will "not be the boss."

"They're a huge franchise, but for me I'm already an executive producer of every show that I'm doing, so it wouldn't make sense for me to go on someone else's show and not be the boss," Harris commented, referring to the "Housewives" franchise.

Bravo has then turned to another potential candidate to fill in Leakes' absence, particularly Atlanta Salon owner Gocha Hawkins, who was described by MStars as an "outspoken" individual and a "popular lesbian" who has been cozying up to Dice from the reality TV show "La La's Full Court Life."

Meanwhile, "Housewives" star Phaedra Parks' husband Apollo Nida is expected to be jailed this Sept. 10. He has also been reportedly set to publicize a "tell-all" book before turning himself over to the authorities for his 8-year-stint.

According to TMZ, insiders who have been close to the "Housewives" star have claimed that Nida has been heartily working on his autobiography. With the help of professional writers, the soon-to-be detainee is reportedly telling his entire story, from his childhood to the incidents that led him to his current dilemma.

This summer, Parks' felon husband was ordered to pay up a total of $1.9 million for pleading guilty to a number of fraud charges.

He has also mentioned about feeling apprehensive whether he and his wife can maintain a strong relationship while was in prison, calling their marriage "hell on wheels."

Reports on Parks' husband surfaced when the "Housewives" cast members went for a photo shoot as part of the upcoming show's promotion, as reported by E! News. These included NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, and Porsha Williams.
