Kyle Richards' adult life has been an open book for the public since she joined Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." But now, the reality show star will also let the audience take a peek into her childhood in a new show.

The Bravo-lebrity recently signed a deal with ITV to co-produce a dark-comedy sitcom loosely based on her childhood. Although the sitcom still has no title, the network announced that Richards will be working with some of the most notable TV show experts, including "30 Rock" scriptwriter John Riggi as well as John Wells and Andrew Stearn, the producers of "The West Wing" and "Shameless." The show will be produced by Warner Horizon Television and John Wells Productions.

According to the press release from ITV, the upcoming TV show is still under development but the plot is already determined.

The show will be set during the 1970's, and it will be based on Richards' growing up years with her mother and her two sisters. In the sitcom, a 40-year-old character named Bonnie Nolan will have to learn how to keep a household after she suddenly becomes single and left to take care of three young daughters when her husband cheated on her.

It means that the younger versions of Richards' older sisters Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton will also be featured in the still unnamed dark-comedy sitcom.

Richard said that she is very excited for her new project, saying: "I am extremely excited and proud to be collaborating with such a talented and creative team of John Wells Productions, John Riggi, Warner Horizon Television, and TV Land to bring this story to life."

The new ITV show comes right on time for Richards as she is allegedly being considered to be fired from her hit reality show on Bravo. RadarOnline received an insider report that after Kim got axed from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" following her infamous relapse and arrest due to public intoxication, the younger Richards will also get the boot soon.

Bravo and Richards still have to clarify the alleged reports about her fate in the popular reality series.
