Brandi Glanville is reportedly leaving "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

Sources confirmed to Us Weekly that the 42-year-old reality TV star is leaving the series after she posted this tweet on Thursday, June 18: "I woke up with a sore throat and a HUGE decision to make today! #RHOBH Will let you all know later I promise!!"

Meanwhile, a source close to the Housewives confirmed to E! News' Giuliana Rancic that it was Bravo's decision not to have Brandi return, citing the numerous feuds between her and other cast members. The source added that Brandi is upset, but she understands and is grateful for the opportunity to be in the hit Bravo franchise.

Brandi joined the cast as a friend of the Housewives in season 2 and instantly made waves when she clashed with many of the women, including Kyle and Kim Richards. She was promoted to full time cast member in season 3 and remained in the show until season 5.

She spent most of season 5 feuding with other stars of the show, most notably Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump. In one episode, she slapped Lisa's face in a bizarre exchange during the cast's visit to Amsterdam. She also offended new cast member Eileen Davidson by tossing a glass of wine in the "Days of Our Lives" star's face during a dinner party.

Meanwhile, Brandi's friend Kim Richards is said to not be returning to the show as well. A source told E! that Kim is "fine with not returning."

"She knows she needs to focus on her health right now," said the insider about the former child actress.

Bravo has yet to make an official statement about the reports.

Brandi was married to actor Eddie Cibrian until their marriage ended in 2009. They have two children together, sons Mason Austin Cibrian and Jake Austin Cibrian. She is the author of two best-selling books, 2013's "Drinking and Tweeting" and 2014's "Drinking and Dating."
