Is Kathy Hilton joining "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills"?

Since the show premiered on Bravo, two of the Richards sisters, Kim and Kyle, have been part of the main cast of the show. Now that Kim has been fired from the franchise, a new report claims that Bravo execs are deciding to shake things up by hiring their sister Kathy.

A source told Radar Online, "They've wanted to switch things up by trading the sisters for their much more famous sister."

The website reports that Kyle is also about to get the boot from "RHOBH" any day now, and it's only a matter of time before the network announces the cast shakeup. Another source told Radar that executives want to get rid of both Kim and Kyle before the reality show premieres its sixth season.

Kim was fired from the show last week, reportedly because of her addiction issues and her inability to stay sober. During the just-concluded fifth season of "RHOBH," Kim was questioned by the other housewives if she has fallen off the wagon after her bizarre behavior at Eileen Davidson's home. Soon after, Kim confessed that she took pain medication that belonged to her former partner Monty, who is currently dealing with cancer, and she repeatedly insisted that it was a lack of better judgement on her part and that she has remained sober.

In April, Kim was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest after a drunken incident at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge. A few days after her arrest, the former child star gave an exclusive interview on "The Dr. Phil Show'" and entered a rehab facility in Malibu.

It was earlier reported that one of the conditions that were laid out by Bravo to allow Kim to return was for her to complete her 90-day treatment in rehab.

If Kathy does decide to join the franchise, the ritzy lifestyle of Paris Hilton's mother will certainly fit right in with the other housewives on the Bravo show. But her other daughter Nicky recently spoke to "Good Day New York" and shot down the rumors, saying that it was completely untrue.

"Absolutely not. I've heard that rumor, it pops up once or twice a year ever since Kim and Kyle started the show and no … untrue," Nicky said.
